Stephen Ure.

Stephen Ure (born March 28, 1958) is an Australian-born New Zealand actor who portrayed Grishnákh in The Two Towers and Gorbag in The Return of the King.

Behind the scenesEdit

  • Ure also worked with Peter Jackson in the first two films of The Hobbit trilogy and Mortal Engines.
  • Interestingly, both characters that Ure played in the trilogy tried to kill a Hobbit before being struck by a weapon from the back (Grishnákh survived the piercing but Gorbag didn't).
